Texas Counties Deliver – learn how county government serves you
ELECTRONIC FILING (e-FILING)

On December 11, 2012, the Texas Supreme Court mandated electronic filing of civil cases in district courts, statutory county courts, constitutional county courts and statutory probate courts on a graduated schedule from January 2014 through July 2016.

The mandatory e-Filing for Blanco County is July 1, 2016

Blanco County has been accepting e-Filings as of April 1, 2015.  Electronic filing permits the filing of civil documents via the Internet.  Once a document is e-Filed, the District Clerk’s Office is able to process the electronic filings any time throughout the day, which helps avert the end-of-day rush that often occurs.  Regardless of when the District Clerk’s Office accepts the document, the time and date stamp will reflect the actual day and time the document was sent by the filer.
